High School Volleyball:
Any girl presently in the 8th,9th,10th or 11th grade that is interested in playing high school volleyball - there will be an open gym on Thursday, May 20th at 4:30-6pm at the Auxiliary Gym. Please come dressed and ready.
Middle school girls basketball tryouts will be Friday, May, 21st from 3-4:30pm in the auxiliary gym. Tryouts are for students who will be entering the 6th-8th grades next school year. Please dress appropriately and wear basketball shoes. For students who are attending school that day, please meet Coach Lakelyn in the front lobby of the high school and walk across the road together.
Middle School Girls Softball tryouts will be Tuesday, May 18th at the softball field from 4:30pm-6:00pm. Tryouts are open for students who will be in the 5th through 8th grades. Be sure to dress appropriately and bring your glove.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

Cross country tryouts will be held next Tuesday, May 18th, from 3:15 - 4:00 pm on the high school baseball field for any student in grades 8-12 next year. Please wear appropriate clothing for running and wear running shoes.
Any 8th-11th grade girl who is interested in trying out for the Van Buren High School girls basketball team tryouts will be on May 20, 2021 from 3:00pm-4:30pm. The tryouts will take place in the Auxiliary Gym.
Van Buren County High School Cheerleading tryouts for current 8th-11th grade students will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 3:00pm-5:00pm in the VBHS auditorium.
The College Planning Night for Juniors (Class of 2022) will be Monday, April 12, 2021, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the VBHS Auditorium. All juniors and their parents are invited!
Spring Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, March 31st from 8am-9am for all middle school students. There will not be a makeup day for these pictures. Please call the high school at (931) 946-2442 if you have any questions.
Join us at home tomorrow night, Monday, March 1st at 7:00pm to support our Van Buren County High School Eaglettes as they play against Clay County. Tomorrow night will be White Out night, so come dressed in white and ready to cheer on our Eaglettes!

Middle School 4-H Demonstrations have been rescheduled for this week. (Wednesday, 24th -6th grade, Thursday, 25th - 7th Grade, and Friday, 26th - 8th Grade).

We would like to update you on the new TSSAA guidelines for the Van Buren Middle School and High School basketball games. Due to these new guidelines, the only people allowed to attend basketball games are those individuals whose name is listed on the pass gate list. To be placed on the pass gate list, you must be added by a Van Buren County basketball team member. No extra tickets will be sold at the gate. All Van Buren County Staff members must also be added to the list by a basketball team member. Please remember if you are attending the basketball game, you need to sit with your family members. We are hopeful these new guidelines will allow our student athletes to continue their basketball season. Thank you for your cooperation.
