Summer Feeding 2024- Those who have signed up to pick up food on Fridays during the Summer Feeding Program, will need to pick it up from the back parking lot of Van Buren County High School. The food will be loaded from the High School Cafeteria Loading Dock. If you have not signed up for Summer Feeding there is still time. It is open to all children in Van Buren Co. between the ages of 0-18 years old. The Summer Feeding Program will run from June 3rd to June 27th. Countdown to Summer: Thursday, May 23rd will be an Abbreviated School Day from 8 AM to 9 AM. Buses will not run on this date. Students will be able to pick up their report cards on this date from 8 AM to 9 AM at both Spencer Elementary and Van Buren County High School.

The Van Buren County Board of Education held its monthly meeting tonight. During this meeting three employees who are retiring at the end of the 2023-24 school year were honored. Schools had planned on having Professional Development Days on May 21st and May 22nd to use the remainder of stockpile days. Due to the use of Stockpile days last week for Inclement Weather, these days will now operate as Regular Instructional Days Thank You!
