
Van Buren County Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, February 20, 2020. Parent Teacher Conferences will still be held as scheduled tomorrow night from 3:30pm-7:00pm.

Yearbooks are now on sale! Standard yearbooks are $25. Personalized yearbooks are $30. Love Lines for the Booster page are only $3. Personalized sales end March 20th.


We look forward to seeing our parents and students at the Teen Wellness Fair during Parent Teacher Conference tomorrow evening. Come out and play Teen Wellness Bingo from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and win!


The Spring Book Fair will be open February 18-24. There are lots of great books that appeal to middle and high school students! The Book Fair will be open during Parent Teacher Conference on Thursday, February 20, so come out and support your child's library!

Van Buren County Schools will be CLOSED today, Thursday, February 13th due to possible flooding.

Van Buren County Schools will be 2 hours late today, Tuesday, February 11th.

The Van Buren County School System is experiencing high absenteeism due to illness. Van Buren County Schools will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Monday, February 6th, 7th, and 10th 2020, so that staff and students can hopefully recover from their illness.
School will be back in session Tuesday, February 11th. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Van Buren Middle and High School students wrote notes of appreciation and thanks to teachers and staff members in the Appreciation Station during lunch yesterday.

Even some of our bathrooms got in the spirit of The Great Kindness Challenge! Special thanks to Ms. Aponte and all of the art students who are spreading kindness, that will last all year long, with their talents!

On December 18, 2019 the Van Buren County Board of Education approved school calendars for both the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years.
The goal moving forward is to always have two school years ahead planned and approved. It is our hope that this will allow you and our community to better plan around events and plan for your own personal family activities.
Both school calendars can be found on the school website (vanburenschools.org) and the "VB Eagles" mobile app.

Reminder - Report Cards go home tomorrow, Friday, January 10th, 2020 for all Van Buren County students.

This is to remind you of the Christmas Break schedule for Van Buren County Schools:
This Friday, December 20, 2020 will be an Abbreviated Day from 8:00am – 9:00am.
Schools and Offices will be CLOSED from Monday, December 23, 2019 – Friday, January 3, 2020.
Students will return to school on Monday, January 6, 2020.
As we enter the inclement weather season this is also a reminder to be on the lookout for official notifications about school closings, dismissals, and delays. All official information will be shared through the all-call and text alert system, the website and mobile app, the system Facebook page, and local media outlets.
