In order to honor all Veterans for their service, the Van Buren County Schools would like to extend a special invitation for all Veterans and their families to join us on November 11th, for Breakfast and Veterans Day Program. The Breakfast will take place at 8 a.m. in the Van Buren County High School Cafeteria for Veterans and their families. The Veterans Day Program will begin at 9 a.m. in the Van Buren Co. High School Gymnasium. We ask that all Veterans who are planning on attending breakfast RSVP by November 8th by calling the Central Office at (931) 946-2242. On the day of the breakfast and program, parking will be made available to Veterans and their families in the back parking lot at the high school.

Attention Families: The SES PTO Trunk or Treat has been postponed for this evening, until Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Thank You & we look forward to seeing you Tuesday evening.
The Director of Schools will be accepting applications for the following positions: Special Education Educational Assistants (Spencer Elementary School & Van Buren County High School) Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and pass the ParaPro Praxis exam or possess an Associate’s Degree. Applications will be received by Jared Copeland, Director of Schools. The positions will remain open until filled.
