Summer Feeding 2024- Those who have signed up to pick up food on Fridays during the Summer Feeding Program, will need to pick it up from the back parking lot of Van Buren County High School. The food will be loaded from the High School Cafeteria Loading Dock. If you have not signed up for Summer Feeding there is still time. It is open to all children in Van Buren Co. between the ages of 0-18 years old. The Summer Feeding Program will run from June 3rd to June 27th. Call Ms. Christy Troglen at (931)946-2242 for more information.

Good Afternoon! This is a reminder that summer feeding starts tomorrow at the designated spot from 9am-10 am. The program will run from June 3rd to June 27th with 5 pickup locations from 9 am to 10 am on designated days as follows: Monday- UCHRA Headstart, Tuesday-Bethlehem Church of Christ, Wednesday-Cedar Grove Community Center, Thursday- Greenbriar Apartments , and Friday-Van Buren County High School . The program will also possibly run from July 8th to July 19th depending on participation. To participate in this program please call Christy Troglen at (931) 946-0147 and leave your name, number of children under the age of 18 years old , and pick-up location. Thank you!

Are you looking for something for Elementary School Kids to do this Summer? Sign them up for the "Tennessee Kids Serve Summer Challenge." The challenge is open to PreK-5th Grade Students and is open from June 1st to August 1st. This a challenge by Tennessee's First Lady Maria Lee for students to use a small portion of their Summer Break to serve others. Countdown to Summer: Thursday, May 23rd will be an Abbreviated School Day from 8 AM to 9 AM. Buses will not run on this date. Students will be able to pick up their report cards on this date from 8 AM to 9 AM at both Spencer Elementary and Van Buren County High School.

Countdown to Summer: Report Cards will be available for pick up on Thursday, May 23rd from 8:00 AM-9:00 AM at each school. If your child has any holds such as Library fees, missing textbooks, unreturned sports uniforms. unpaid lunchroom fees, etc. Your child will not be able to pick up their Report Card until all holds have been taken care of.
